·        President scholarship of Chinese Academy of Sciences (excellent prize) in 1991 at USTC

Research fields:

·        Growth of III-V and II-VI semiconductors by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)

·        Characterizations of semiconductor materials by using following techniques:
Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XR), photoluminescence measurement, 
FTIR measurement, Raman spectroscopy measurement, Hall measurement, Capacitance-Voltage 
(C-V) measurement, current-voltage (I-V) measurement

·        Device fabrications: infrared detectors, resonant tunneling diodes (RTD), light emitting diodes (LED)
