Homework: Homework problems will be distributed in class once a week.
Homework will NOT be graded, but similar problems will be included in tests.

Textbook:  Smith and Minton,  Calculus.  McGraw-Hill, 3rd edition.

Material to be covered (tentative): Chapter 0, Sections 0.1, 0.2, 0.4;   Chapter 1, Sections 1.1 - 1.5; 
Chapter 2, Sections 2.1 - 2.7;  Chapter 3, Section 3.1 - 3.7; 
Chapter 4, Section 4.1 - 4.6. 

Approximate grading weights:

2 term exams: 30 % each
Final exam: 40 %

 
There will be no early or make-up  tests.
