Homework: Homework problems will be distributed in class once a week. Selected problems will be collected and graded.
Exams: Four tests and few short quizzes will be scheduled. There will be no final exam. Approximate grading weights are the following:
Make–up policy: No late homework will be accepted. If you miss a test or a quiz, your grade will be 0. No grade will be dropped. No make–up exams will be given unless you provide an official excuse for your absence.
Material to be covered : Chapters 1-7 (Chapter 7 is optional)
