Examinations and Grading Policy

 

There will be 4 examinations during the semester: a 2-hour examination covering approximately the first, second and third quarter of the course; a 3-hour final cumulative for the entire semester with emphasis on final segment of course. The examinations will each count as 20.0% of the course grade; final cumulative will count 30% of the grade and final 10% of the grade will be based on the laboratory work and participation.

The passing score for all examinations is 70. Students must complete the lab component, in order to receive a grade.

 

AS PER COURSE REGULATIONS, NO STUDENT WHO FAILS THE COURSE WILL BE PERMITTED TO TAKE THE RE-ASSESSMENT.

" During the didactic phase of the Program, a student may be permitted to repeat a maximum of two (2) courses. When a student fails a course, the student will be placed on academic probation and an automatic prescription year. Failing more than two (2) courses during the didactic phase of the Program will result in academic dismissal from the Program."

 

 Letter grades for students who pass the course are assigned as follows:
