  Dr. Ryan began teaching at the City College of New York in October 2003.
The Ryan research lab opened in Marshak 1303 in April 2004.
Here are the current research interests in the lab:

1. Bioorganic studies of olfactory molecular recognition (a.k.a. the chemistry of the sense of smell).
   
2. Mammalian pre-mRNA 3' end processing regulation by protein phosphorylation.
   
3. The development of new methods to deliver miRNA and siRNA to human cells.
