I will collect homework each week.
I will check that you have done the problems and will grade more carefully 2-3
of them. A complete answer to the homework requires:
1) Draw a picture describing the problem.
2) Write down the information given (preferably on the picture).
3) Write down what information is needed (again on the picture).
4) Write down the equations you will use to solve the problem.
5) Keep track of the units.
6) Circle your answer and add your answer to the figure.
(Obviously full credit on exams requires each of these six steps.
Homework will count for 10% of your grade.
