Aminat Saliu was awarded a travel award from The Association for Research in Otolaryngology (ARO). Aminat will present her work on "Cochlear lesions reduce the proliferation of glial cell precursors during a sensitive period in the rat auditory brainstem" at the 34th Annual ARO Meeting in San Diego, CA.

Asohan Amarasingham and Adrian Rodriguez-Contreras have been awarded a City Seeds grant to support interdisciplinary research and creative work. The title of their project is "Inferring synaptic plasticity from the activity of neuronal ensembles in the developing auditory system".
